Police Academy

A consolidated modern campus for police academy to achieve maximum efficiency

Mauritius Police Academy aims to regroup the police training institutions segregated across the island into one single consolidated campus so that training and development of Police officers at all levels can provide a quality service with pride and care and meet the organizational vision. The design uses two modern materials – concrete and glass to create a bold geometry. The buildings are symmetrical and represent two interconnected buildings connected by a bridge. A repetitive vertical louver breaks the monotony of a horizontal façade and also serves to protect the interiors from heat gain. The project will include the setting up of the main administrative block, training buildings, residential buildings and outdoor facilities equipped with modern and state-of-the-art training establishments.
