Outdoor spaces, Courtyards, Rooftop and Therapeutic gardens serving for the health and wellness of the patients
The NIUM, set up by the Ministry of AYUSH in Ghaziabad, is a 200-bedded hospital with a Library, Academic block & other allied buildings. The project is part of the ministry’s commitment towards the provision and promotion of quality education, research and healthcare services through Unani and other traditional forms of Indian medicine. The campus layout follows the courtyard planning concept, to optimize natural lighting and ventilation in all spaces. Reflecting the history of Unani medicine, the façade is done in red sandstone and dholpur thus also imbibing a character from the ancient Islamic architecture.
